I don't know if this is a bug, a feature request, or a specific issue with my player. I've got an old Creative DAP Jukebox connected to my Ubuntu PC; it doesn't have native mass storage support, but I'm using a 'kio' program that mounts it as a removable drive at njb/. I can synchronize it with Amarok perfectly - but under the Devices tab, all the tracks are listed by artist. I want them to be listed by album (my device supports both tags, and I can sort by Album on the device itself). Whilst Amarok's Collection tab allows me to sort by Artist, Album, etc. I seem only to be able to sort by Artist under the Device tab. Does anyone know a way round this?
