Hi
I have a Sony A818 media player and it supports UMS, so I can directly put my songs into the device. But the thing is that I want to manage my player using Amarok like I do using winamp in windows. I have no clue about device nodes and put proper command for the connecting devices. I searched and only thing I figured out is that node files(??) are located on /dev folder. From this point, I don't know what I need to do. Thank you for reading this. |

as the A818 is a MTP device: -simply plug it in -amarok will show up the device -select the mtp plugin -done Greetings m0nk

Assuming your distro and amarok version have been bundled with mtp support...

That's correct. But today I saw the following amarok script on kde-apps.org:
