Yes. Found that it is in the Ubuntu backports (where there is a KDE section) and that this has nothing to do With Kubuntu backports :-)

For other newbies like me, it was fairly simple to do the update:

Open KPackageKit
Settings
Edit software sources (type your password)
Click on the "Updates" tab
Enable "Unsupported updates"
Click close, confirm that you want to update the information.
In the "Software updates" section of KPackageKit you will now find that there are a few "Enhancements" listed. Pick Amarok, Apply and let it do it's job.
After it is done, just go in and disable the "Unsupported updates" again so you do not add anything unwanted to your system.

2.1.1.installed. But has anyone tried to recreate this problem? There is a bug registered:

Oceanwatcher wrote:So for this to happen:

Add a folder on a USB drive in your collection.
Start Amarok before the USB drive has been mounted and try to play a song.
Then mount the USB drive by just clicking on it in Dolphin.
The song plays, but do not move on to the next item in the playlist.

Can anyone else repeat this?

Absolutely, you are 100% right, this happened to me today with 2.2.0
