Hi,

When I was using Windows media player, I used easytag to embed the album cover in my mp3's and I've deleted all the jpg files on every folder of my collection. Now that I am using Ubuntu 7.10, Amarok shows the album cover in a corrupted way (please, see screenshot ).

The problem persists even if I delete the cache files on /home/user/.kde/share/apps/amarok/.....

Please help me with this one

I'm having this, too. I've tried deleting all corrupted images from ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/albumcovers - they're there - and in one case I succeeded, it seems - but there another corrupted image that keeps on showing.

The strange thing is that if I click to see the enlarged image the right one is shown in its own window.

I've been using Amarok since more than a year when I started with linux and I've never seen this happing before. Could it be a recent bug due to an update.  It's happening on both my kubuntu 32 and ubuntu 64 systems

This is a known TagLib issue. Watch out for TagLib 1.5 which is going to be released soon; it's likely going to fix the problem.
