When iPod plays are sent to Last.fm, are they supposed to be sent one at a time or is it supposed to say "several tracks have been sent to last.fm?" Currently it is only sending one song at a time, randomly.

depends whether there is more than one track in the last.fm queue that has been successfully submitted. Usually, a track is submitted as it is played. If it is not successfully sent, it's left in the queue to be sent again after a preset period.

My tracks that are played in Amarok are sent fine it's the iPod plays that are sent randomly. For example if I had 91 tracks in queue for sending to last.fm, the Amarok plays would go first and the iPod plays wouldn't be sent at all. The iPod plays seem to only send one at a time when I'm not playing any music with Amarok.
![]() So basically is there any way to send the iPod plays in a mass thing at once? |

Amarok should submit tracks pretty much as fast as last.fm allows. If it does not send any faster, then it should be because of last.fm saying so.

Exactly. If submissions seem odd, usually it's related to limits placed by last.fm to keep things running smoothly on their submission servers. With patience, everything generally gets there in the end. I'm pretty sure the ipod plays are added to amarok's last.fm submission queue though - you can check for yourself by looking at the files in ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/

Hehe alrighty thanks guys. Just wanted to make sure there was nothing wrong. I figured out Amarok sends in iPod plays every 1-2 minutes so whenever you're not playing music so it doesn't trigger the spam thing on last.fm. Also if music isn't played for 1 hour, it'll submit around 1 hour worth of plays at once.
