Visualization Problem

Tue Nov 13, 2007 7:35 pm
I am running Amarok 1.4.7 on Fedora 8 x86_64.

I have libvisual and libvisual-plugins installed, but when I click on Visualization under Tools it gives me a message saying "no visualizations found: possible reasons libvisual is not installed or libvisual plugins not installed".

Anyone else having this issue? What steps can I take to troubleshoot?

I know this is dead, but it is the only place the search turned up on this issue in the forum, and I too encountered this issue. I post in case anyone else encounters this. You have to run:

Code: Select all
yum install amarok-visualisation

Unfortunately I already had that package installed. My fix was to update to 1.4.8 when it came out.
