On my laptop, running Mandriva 2008, Amarok 1.4.7 freezes the whole computer instantly when I click on the analyzer window. The whole computer seems totally dead: no disk activity, nothing.
Only way out is to forcibly restart by holding down power button. The problem may be related to the distro, but I dropped a note here anyway - just in case someone knows about it. |

could be something to do with opengl, as some of the analyzers use it. are you running compiz or other effects? If so, try disabling it to see if you still get the problem. Also check the mandriva forums.

No Compiz, Beryl or anything.
I have checked Mandriva forums, but I haven't found anything like this. I will report it as a bug to Mandriva, though. |
