Sorry if these have been asked, my search results didn't bring up anything relevant.

1) Is there a way to remove/customize the TOP toolbar in Amarok? The one above the playlist, with the searchbar, etc?

2) I really hate the rounded, gradient selection over the current playing track in the playlist. Any way to configure amarok to use a regular, flat selection?

AFAIK there's nothing you can do without changing the sources.
