Hello!
I didn't find this problem up to now, so I post a new topic for it: I using suse 10.3 with Amarok 1.4.7 and I have a iPod 6 generation classic. The iPod is correctly recognized by Amarok and I can transfer files to it. But after havin correctly disconnected the iPod, it says that there is no music on it. Okay, I reconnect the iPod, Amarok find it correctly and shows me the files on the iPod. I can even play songs from the iPod with Amarok. I guess it's some kind of database error. What I can also tell you, is that when I synchronize the iPod with Linux, iTunes tell me something about problems with the database... I don't know if this is related to my problem, but I guess it might be helpful to find a solution. Regards, Dennis |

Okay, I just read the following thing:
iPod Classic 1G 80, 160 GB Working 5 September 2007 Amarok 1.4.8, libgpod 0.6.0 So I own an iPod Classic with 80GB and here, I can see that I need Amarok 1.4.8 - so I think I will first have to update Amarok. Can my problem be related to the version I'm using? And beside: I'm sorry about the wrong generation number I've put in the Subject, but I'm a little bit confused: I have also a black video iPod (30GB) and I thought this device is 5th generation - but at http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Media_Device:IPod, 5G is only for iPod mini - and I don't have an iPod mini! So could somebody point me the way to a site which explains me all this generation thing?!? |

Amarok 1.4.8 is not yet released. We plan to release it "soonish".

You're just confused by the table layout

Oh, now I see how the table should correctly be read... Thanks!
