just what it says.
moodbar will display 'queued' then 'calculating' then leave the column blank. amarok also complains about libvisual not being installed, when it is. I'm using gentoo, and have both moodbar and visualisation useflags enabled. this stopped working suddenly upon upgrade. any advice?

there's a problem with one of the libvisual plugins - check the gentoo forums for the solution - there's one file you need to delete but I can't remember what it is.
Do you possibly have more than one version of gstreamer installed? That can prevent moodbar from working.

I don't have multiple versions of gstreamer installed, I use xine engine anyway.
if you could recommend some files to delete, I'll try anything out. I can't find anything specific on the gentoo forum.. |

oh whoops, I was searching for moodbar-related topics ..
deleting the actor_nasty* files doesn't seem to help, still getting the same error. I'll emerge amarok with the debug useflag and see if I can learn anything taht way. I'm really most concerned with getting moodbar to work again, I find it really useful. --edit okay, with debug enabled, I can see moodbar is giving this (not terribly helpful) error:
no error if I try to open the visualisations menu, so I'm not sure what's happening there..
