Ok I have just installed amarok and am impressed. However there is one crucial feature that If it cannot be fixed, I might have to switch music players. If I have a playlist playing, and I go to shoutcast radio and double click the radio station, it just adds the station into the playlist but continues playing the song on my computer. I would prefer if it automatically played the radio station. It will also do the same for multiple playlists. If im listening to a playlist, then i double click another playlist it just appends. I want it to clear the current playlist and load the new one. I don't want to have to right click the the playlist, click Load, then press the next track button to get it to start playing. I have tried searching the forums and wiki. I found one thing "AppendAsDefault=false" to the config files, but that didn't work worth ****.
Can anybody please help. Thanks, Marf |

modifying your amarok.desktop (here /usr/share/applications/kde/amarok.desktop) should help: replace the 'Exec=amarok %U' line with something like 'Exec=amarok --load --play %U'.
amarok --help should list some more options. And perhaps removing the AppendAsDefault line is a good idea. |
