I'm wondering why this is the case? I cannot move the "bar" at the bottom at the screen to skip forward in the podcast either.
Is such information embedded in the file and in that case does it matter whiter I use MP3 or OGG files? Any suggestions? Thanks /Leslie |

This is because xinelib (at this point) is unable to seek in remote media. Hence Amarok disables the seek bar, as it would otherwise be confusing.

I solve this by downloading the podcast. Once I'm done listening to it, just delete. This is all done with the right-click menu.
The longer the podcast, the more useful this is, especially if you will want to listen to just one part again, or skip some. |

Thank you, I'll do that.
