AmaroK 1.4.8 doesn't have a iPod plugin?

I'm using Amarok 1.4.8 which I installed from the tarball of the Amarok site (I couldn't find the repositories). I'm using Feisty.

I've been trying to get my iPod to work on it, but under the media devices window of configuration where you select the plugin there is only Generic Audio Player and Music Sharing options.

I can access the iPod through Generic Audio Player, but just the files. I don't think I can add any files because of the way the iPod changes file names when it's put on the iPod.

Any ideas?

Thanks

if you're compiling amarok yourself, please read the included README which tells you which other packages you will need to install for ipod support. Also make sure you have used the correct ./configure settings.
