I'm using Amarok for accessing a podcast over https requiring http basic-authentication

The feed is loaded just fine, asking for username/password and showing all the episodes in the list.
But when fetching the real audio, I get the following error:

Error Loading Media
No suitable input plugin. This often means that the url's protocol is not supported. Network failures are other possible causes.
https://example.com/audios/1

Is https supported when fetching the feed, but not when fetching the audio file?
