Hi, I've got this strange and annoying problem. When I doubleclick any song in the playlist view, the time counter starts to count, but the sound itself starts playing after 2 secs. So I can't hear the begining of the song. But when the songs are playing continuously, it's just ok. It happens only if I want to play the song with doubleclick. I have Amarok 1.4.8 with Xine engine, both updated to latest available versions. I'm running KDE 3.5.8 on Fedora 8 with PulseAudio and Compiz-Fusion (it happens even with CF disabled).

I will be glad for any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

There are known issues with the xine PulseAudio plugin. Try switching to the ALSA plugin instead in the Amarok settings.

I have set ALSA as the output in the Amarok settings (I have these output options under Xine: ALSA, OSS, aRts, File). But as I understand it, the PulseAudio is a layer between ALSA and soundcard, isn't it?
