Hello, all,
I'm currently trying to achieve the common "Lan Radio Station" fantasy a lot of Amarok users share, that is to say use dcop calls to control playlists. I can load individual items (/somepath/to/soundclip.ogg) and manually created playlists (/somepath/to/playlist.m3u) easily. My problem is that I can't find a way to load _Amarok generated playlists_, such as my own smart playlists et als. The idea is to use cron to, for example, load the "Smart Wakeup Playlist" in the morning, followed by the "Suchday Morning Playlist", then at noon load the "Midday News Podcasts" (how to load a podcast using dcop, I'm still researching...), followed by the "suchday afernoon playlist", then the "Supper Time Playlist", the "Suchday Evening Playlist", the "Midnight Playlist", ad vitam aeternam. You get the idea. And from my research on the subject, I've noticed many help requests for such an undertaking. Thanks for any expert help on dcop functions, Sergeg |
