I have hundreds if not thousands of files that were tagged with amarok, and the resulting ID3V2 tag is....well, odd.

With Amarok, the file info is correct (what version is it reading, or is it reading the db), but getid3 reads the genre as a number.  I retagged an offending file with easytag and it still shows up as a number in getid3.  There are similar problems out there on applicable forums:

Granted I have posted in both, but the implication is that others have the same problem.

Not sure if the problem is with amarok tagging library, the file itself, or with getid3...casting all my lines out there for an answer.
