Hello,
  I recently updated my system because when i installed kubuntu the sound did not work. Then i installed suse pro 10.1 this again did not work. I  then wiped everything out again and started with 9.2. This worked amazingly well. WTF i decided to upgrade to 9.3 i will never know.  Anyhow now that i have upgraded the juk application and AmaroK  do not work the only player that works is Real player 10 and zinf playerr. 

Everything else works but the sound players. Without this though it may as well be a dead box. Sorry but i need my multimedia to play in order for this to be of any value.

Oh in my kde control panel  it shows my soundblaster audigy 2 zs test works fine and i can play music from online fine.

  I am loosing patience with this after a couple of weeks now of puttering around and reading useless man pages.

  There are no updates for my 9.2 as well online so i figured i had to update.

Have you looked at the Amarok FAQ in the Infobase (e.g., http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/MP3)?
