Under supported devices it says the iPod nano 2GB is supported, no need of requirements. But when I plug in my iPod amarok pops up, but woudn't recognize the iPod under media devices. When I try to connect it says: no iPod connected/detected. I'm kinda desperate cause i don't know what to do or what I'm doing wrong. I'm using Xandros on eee Pc if that is important an the iPod's software version is 1.2.2. I'd be grateful for help!

If you happen to use Amarok 1.4.9 you should upgrade to 1.4.9.1, as 1.4.9 didn't work with iPods at all.

I totally forgot to mention that. I've got Amarok 1.4.3. since that seems to be the current release for Debian. It was already installed on the eee PC and other users said their iPod works fine with amarok. So I was wondering why mine has these problems.
But I just might install Amarok 1.4.9.1. and see if that helps. Does that version work with Debian? I'm asking because I'm a linux noob. Thx a lot for the help!
