This weekend I installed KDE4 (though I'm still using 3.5.8, can't stand 4), and yesterday updated Kubuntu to Hardy. Last.fm's been having some server issues, but submissions are back up, and I can submit just fine with quod libet. It appears to be quite a common problem from the posts in the last.fm forums, with the most common solution being to change your password. I usually get a queue of 30 or so tracks before amarok successfully submits them, but I queued up over 500 during the last few days. Something I did yesterday (I think it was related to the Hardy update) cleared out my queue, so now I'm only at the ~60 I've listened to today. Are there any more tricks to make it work, or is amarok scrobbling just buggy? If so, is it ever going to be fixed?

Also, I notice that I can no longer fetch artist/album/track info from Wikipedia, and the Amazon covers don't fetch (even though, just guessing from lack of changelog, that was fixed in 1.4.9.1). However, lyrics still fetch, so...

So, I'm thinking that perhaps this has to do with konqueror being borked? Whenever I open Konqueror 3, it crashes. Reinstalling doesn't do anything, and purging would remove my entire kubuntu-desktop package. I tried renaming the binary and creating a symlink to konqueror4, but that doesn't seem to affect amarok.
What I'm getting at is, is it truly konqueror that would be causing these problems? If so, I'll go somewhere else to try and get it fixed, but first I want to make sure that it will solve the problem. |

Could be that KDE3 and 4 don't like to co-exist the way you have them, or something else has gone wrong with your upgrade. Maybe check your distro docs for info about repairing stuff like that.

Here's the end result. It ended up being the kio_httprc file, which apparently controls all the http requests in kde apps. It would be kinda nice if there was some indication... but now I'm more knowledgeable, which is what I enjoy about troubleshooting in Linux, as opposed to Windows.
