im trying to get amarok to build my collection using mysql on a kubntu 8.04 system
iv tried sqlite and it was horrificly slow due to the size of the collection
is it my own stupidity that caused this problem, or is this a legitimate problem?
thanks

noone will know until you add a few more details!
Little things like music format, file system of music drive, whether music is on a network... Plenty of variables at work here
