Hi!
Having been using amarok extensively for a considerable amount of time (28k plays during the past year or so). After switching to mySQL half a year ago, I got a much more stable and reliable collection and statistics database (you have to work hard to crash mysqld - so no more collection rebuilds for me ![]() That's all fun and dandy, the real problem is the fact that lyrics seem to disappear without any warning. This happens exclusively to lyrics of songs that I have not played for a while. So, is this some kind of feature that I have never heard of (is there a maximum number of songs with lyrics allowed)? If so, is there any way of altering this behavior? Oh yes, and adding to the weirdness is the fact that despite the mysteriously vanished lyrics are not displayed by amarok and have to be redownloaded - I can still see them while browsing the raw mysql-database (/var/lib/mysql/amarok/lyrics.MYD). Could anyone offer any help? Thanks in advance |
