hello , my name is peter, i'm 30 .... i use a Macbook and i want use Amorok on this one
My configuration is Macbook 2,16 Ghz intel 4Go Mac OS X 10.5.2
I fallow the instruction for installing Amarok with fink, i 've Xcode tools
when i try to make this install i have this error
sw/bin/dpkg-lockwait -r fink-buildlock-aalib-1.4rc5-1024
(Lecture de la base de données... 4101 fichiers et répertoires déjà installés.)
Suppression de fink-buildlock-aalib-1.4rc5-1024 ...
Failed: directory Y/aalib-1.4rc5-1024/aalib-1.4.0 doesn't exist, check the package description

Please help me because i understand nothing..... this Y/aalib-1.4rc5-1024/aalib-1.4.0 exist .......

Hi there, I too wanted to install amarok via fink, It couldn't install the xinelib... It seems there is no easy way to install amarok on osx at this point, However, I found a post somewhere, that said, that fink is out of date and you should use MacPorts. You also can go her: http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Amarok2_On_OS_X. That's a complete How-To install Amarok 2.0 Alpha on OS X. Good luck. I haven't tried it, because it's so much work.... If you get Amarok to work properly on 10.5.2, please let me know...


MacBook, 2GHz C2D, 3GB RAMM, 120GB HDD.

Amarok 2.0 Beta from KDE-on-Mac.
