Amarok does not allow me to edit m4a tags. I get the message "Sorry, the tag for the following files could not be changed:" when I try and save. I've done a lot of research on this and have installed all recommended libraries with no luck. Editing tags outside of Amarok using another program is really an ugly solution and one that just isn't acceptable. I'm able to play m4a files fine. I'm running Ubuntu 8.0.4. Thanks in advance.
Forgot to mention that I can edit m4a using easytag-aac. But I want to use Amarok to edit all my music files, not just mp3s, flac, etc.. I've read posts in this forum and elsewhere about this same issue. How was it solved? Come on Amarok community help me out. Thanks again.

Sorry if I'm repeating myself, but I posted this in a similar thread which is older than this one. So in case you haven't had any success, here's ths gist of my post:
Editing of m4a/mp4 tags is not enabled by default in most Amarok binaries (including Ubuntu). If you're still using Ubuntu Hardy (8.04) just add the Medibuntu repository and do an update. This repository has a newer version of Amarok that has been compiled with libmp4v2 support. If, like me, you've upgraded to Intrpid, you could try to figure out how to compile Amarok yourself with the option enabled. However, the Medibuntu packagers guys told me that there's a bug somewhere in Amarok 1.4.10 that prevents this from working.
