I installed Amarok on my computer and it work perfectly but then I had a problem in Ubuntu and had to install the OS again then I reinstalled Amarok but now all the options are grayed out, the EQ is grayed out and all the media I add is deleted from Amarok each time I open the program also the first time use wizard opens.

Sounds like a permission problem or something.

try running this command in konsole:
sudo chown `whoami`:users -R ~/
