I have just started using Linux and have come across Amarok which seems a really good player, I hooked up my ipod and it has catalogued all my music on it - great so far

what I can't figure out is how to transfer music files from my computer to the ipod, a not so helpful message tells me to configure the device and presumably then I will be able to display it in the 'devices' tab, I have clicked the configure device button but do not know what to type in to identify the device

any help please
