Hellos! Amarok is my favorite music player, I love it to death ^.^

Today I decided to try out the Magnatune integration. I selected an artist, album, and track, and was told that there's no available decoder for .mp3 files. Is there no way to select Ogg Vorbis files instead?

I have a Fluendo codec to play .mp3s, but it's only for gstreamer, and Amarok apparently can't use that. I prefer not to use unlicensed codecs, so this is a bit of a problem for me.

Also, is there any way to browse / buy from Jamendo from within Amarok?

Heya Murrquan! Welcome to the forums.

What version of Amarok are you using? Can you play mp3s normally? By that I mean can you add MP3s to the playlist in Amarok and listen to them? With Amarok 2 you will be able to browser, stream, and download form Jamendo. Also, Magnatune will have many new new features in Amarok 2.
