Things missing in Amorak

Help please I have been looking at the faq's in ubuntu my  first question is probably because I cannot get started. I have no help file installed and whilst looking for reference for this another query was how to make Amaroc default the answer directed them to edit I don' seem to have this please forgive me if this sounds a load of rubbish but I am unable to refer to anything

For the handbook, google "Amarok handbook". Probably wasn't installed if you don't run KDE.

Making Amarok default: do you mean the default application for opening music files? Not sure of the specifics in gnome, but check your configuration for "helper applications", or something along those lines.
