Hi all,

here is another guy with some cover problems on his iPod.
First, here is what I use:
iPod Classic 80GB
Amarok 1.4.9.1
libgpod 0.6.0
ruby 1.8.6
all this on Gentoo.

Second I tried most of the things I found here on this topic, removing the .kde dir of amarok, reinstalling all stuff...

Third: it all used to work fine until some days ago.
Then the covers started to be messed up, wrong or no covers.
A new sync did not help, so I reset the iPod using iTunes.
But no change, no covers.
The ArtworkDB file was not changed, none of the files containing the covers were created.
Now I synced one track using iTunes and got the cover with it as well. And it is shown on the iPod.
Then I synced some more tracks with Amarok, and gone was the cover.

So, are there any ideas what the problem could be? All programs are still the same version and config as back then when it worked.

I have an ipod video model a448 that will not sync any album cover art.  I've found information online that the problem is caused because my model number isn't recognized.  How do I configure Amarok to recognize it?  I'm running Amarok 4.2.2 on Ubuntu 9.
