Strange problem that's ocurred with Amarok. I'm running Ubuntu Hardy Heron. I've got both Amarok 1.4.9.1 and also Amarok 2.0 SVN-Neon installed in gnome. I've got streaming software and also shoutcast installed on another computer, that I point Amarok to, and it streams my music from this. I've done it that way to get round random play/repeat not working in Amarok.
This worked fine up until today. Now, streaming audio will no longer give any sound in either version of Amarok. I've rebooted both pc's to rule out any problems caused by them. I'm currently listening to the same stream using rythmbox, so it seems to be a problem with amarok, but I can't figure out what is causing it. I've removed and reinstalled the SVN version to check that, but i'm still not having any luck. |

Are you running both copies of amarok as the same user? If so, try deleting ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/ and ~/.kde/share/config/amarokrc
Both versions share the same location and config files, and this can cause problems when switching between the two.
