Ok well I am not sure I have all the requirements, assessed by the amount of errors I recieve, am wondering if someone can tell me what's missing or what needs doing. Basically I am trying to install amarok 2 alpha 2 on ubuntu hardy heron, maybe even it's not possible to compile, might be missing some KD4 requirements  :confused:

Yes, you will first have to install KDE 4.1. Check the README file in the source tree.

KDE4.1 is Installed and also to clarify I have the nightly installed.. but I want to keep up with the alpha 2.
