Hi,

I am using Amarok 2.0-SVN under KDE 4.1.2 with Mandriva 2009.0.
I have some Album names that contain the following characters : [ and ]
(ex : The Best of Van Morrison [Mercury], The Best of ZZ Top [Warner]).
All songs of these albums can't be played by Amarok.
This problem did not exist with KDE 3.x (I don't know which version of Amarok I was using).

Does anybody have the same problem ?

Regards.

Xuo.

This is a known bug of the GStreamer Phonon backend. See here: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=172414

Simply switch your Phonon backend to xine. This should fix the issue.
