I'm using amarok in gnome, and when I shut down, restart, or log out with amarok still running, it doesn't remember the playlist. This seems to be because gnome does not gracefully shut down the app. In KDE, this is not a problem. How does KDE gracefully shut down the program. And does anyone know of a way to make gnome wait for programs to exit, or is there a script that can be run to gracefully exit the program? Running "amarok -x" or "amarok --exit" from a ternimal exits amarok, but it still doesn't remember what it is supposed to. Is there a command that will gracefully exit? I don't usually think to exit amarok before exiting gnome, plus it's a pain to have to, especially when it's simply an icon in the system tray. Thanks
