Since I updated amarok from 1.4.10 up to 1.92.2 I cannot listen to music with it. It runs without any troubles, I create a playlist and start playing. Playback slider begins moving but nothing sounds. I checked phonon-backend and tried both xine and gstreamer. With the least I got a message that mp3-files cannot be played, but in practice tracks in any other formats too.

When I downgrade amarok and install xine-engine it works excellent.

What may be wrong? I'm Debian user. I do not use KDE's WM.
