Hi!

Tried to install amarok Beta 3 on my macbook pro

the installation says i need to run amarok postflight script, but i can't find it in the package or on the website!

anyone knows where i can find it?

Qt 4.4 is installed
Kdelibs is installed

when trying to run amarok it get:
Library not loaded: /opt/kde4/lib/libkutils.4.dylib
  Referenced from: /opt/kde4/bin/amarok.app/Contents/MacOS/Amarok
  Reason: image not found

the file libkutils.4.dylib is not in the directory, in which package is the file included?

btw running other KDA apps (like Nautilus for example works)

Hardware
CoreDuo 2,16
2GB RAM
250GB HDD
OSX 10.5.5

would be nice to get any clue, really want to test it.

thanks

How did you install Amarok? You should use the package from http://mac.kde.org

sprry i forgot to mention that:

i installed all the packages:
Base System 140.4 MB A whole lot of stuff needed by KDE
Qt 4.4 160.5 MB Qt 4.4
KDE Support 8.5 MB akonadi, automoc, soprano, strigi, phonon, qimageblitz, taglib, qca
MySQL 5.1 13.5 MB Mysql 5.1, needed by Amarok
4.1.2 Apps 171.3 MB kdelibs, base, pimlibs, graphics, multimedia, network, sdk, utils, ktorrent, Amarok

but still no amarok to find so i installed the amarok single package too
-> amarok starts and quits with the error described above

btw, i had a look in all of the main packages and the amarok package i can't find a postflight script in there

Sounds like a problem with the packages - have you tried asking in the places suggested on http://mac.kde.org/?id=help ?
