Good morning to all, I'm a new user of amarok

I'm tryng to use it but when i put a file in the playlist or modify a tag the file is copied in a folder on the local harddisk.
the folder is a letter with in the folder with the name of the autor
for ex:
B -> Beethowen-> song.mp3

I've not space and I prefear to vork directly on the file (not on the copy)
Is possilbe to set amarok to NOT copy the file?
I'we searched in the wiky but i didn't find anithing....

Amarok does _not_ copy the file if you put it into the playlist.

yes, I've seen that the "problem" is created when i change the tag from the "collection sidebar" (I don't know the right word)

If I change, for example, 1 tag field in the whole album the directory is created....

The only way this would happen is if you've used the Files sidebar, and used the "copy files to collection" setting.
