Hi there, I already searched a lot, but found no answer to my problem…
I have Amarok installed on OS X, it's the Version from Nov. 24 from KDE-on-Mac. There seem to be some issues with the collection, I got some trouble to get my Compilations to show up under 'Various Artists'… When I imported my Music to Amatok, most Collections showed up under their individual Artists, so I marked them as 'Show up under Various...'. So, most of the Collections where listed right. Some Compilations showd up as diffrerent Albums fopr every Artist, and even after renaming all Artists to 'Various Artists' they still showed up as different Albums. Someway I did get them to show up as One Album, but now it's still two times there... Both contain all Tracks from the compilation. Did someone understand what I mean? Is there a sollution, or is it just a buggy collection-browser-thingy, which will be corrected when the OS X Version goes RC?

The problems with compilation albums are known to us. Here's the bug report for it:

Just for the record;
Should compilations be stored in a directory named "Various Artists" OR should Various Artists be stored in a directory called "Compilations"? |

Makes no difference. Amarok sorts by tags, not file names/locations.

Can we have a various artists / compilations flag for an album then?
