Hi

I get "LSOpenFromURLSpec() failed with error -10810." when I try to start Amarok2 Beta on OS X.
Any ideas what this error means and how to get Amarok2 running?

How did you install? From sources, or packages? I've not seen this since I started using packages.

Exact same error for me me, on two different computers, both pretty vanilla leopard installs. I am surprised this is working for everyone, given that I really don't have much going on on either these two systems (besides macports xfig being installed).

Installed from port, following instructions from
http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Amarok2_On_OS_X

I don't know if this has anything to do with the instruction

'sudo port install git-core git clone http://ranger.befunk.com/misc/dbus-git/.git cd ~dbus-git && ./autogen.sh && make && sudo make install'
which does not seem to work (the http://ranger.befunk.com address gives an error)

also, i am pretty sure (again, tried on two pretty vanilla leopard installs) that the instruction
svn co svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/trunk/kdesupport/taglib

is not enough/correct for taglib

what i found on macports (http://trac.macports.org/ticket/18583) seems to replace it correctly, though:
'sudo svn checkout  https://svn.kde.org'
