i just installed amarok 2 on debian (from experimental) on a fresh kde 4.1.3 installation.
I have a big collection of mp3 and ogg files but unfortunately not all the albums show in the collection, though they are present in "collection_scan.files"
There doesn't seem to be a reason for this behaviour, unfortunately.

any idea?

Could it be that your ogg, oga files are the albums that are not showing up?

I'm having that problem and have just started my investigation...

I got the same problem. It seems that amarok doesn't identify *.oga as an audiofile... even its just the same as *.ogg just to decide wether its audio (*.oga) oder video (*.ogv)....
