Playlists

Sat Dec 20, 2008 6:28 am
Hi, have had a look for this but can't find it, so figure it must just be me....... Have just installed Amarok2 and have setup music directories etc, done a scan for music and get..... nothing. The directories are correct and there ARE files in there (mostly mp3), also with a playlist in every directory, but i get nothing.... Help!
Also, doesn't seem to be as configurable a V1. eg I like using the player window, but all I seem to be able to get is the full window. Please, point me in the right direction...
Thanks, John.

Probably a packaging error from your distribution related to MySQL Embedded. Please ask on your distro's forums.

Appears that the main prob was the 'non existence' of mysql.... so that bit is fixed... but no warning of that when installing..??
But still have the other issues of: no player window: can't configure the engine...?: Can't configure the fade-in/fade-out properly, even though the option is there for fade-out, but only on track end.....
Where are all the old (V1.4) config options??
(And I downloaded the RPM from Amarok - Suse V11.1 ships with V1.4 - Nothing was imported.)
Thanks, John.
