Hi there,
I've just finished tweaking openSuse 11.1 and it's PulseAudio install to get Surround 5.1 sound.  This works great in Amarok 1.4 and my flash plugin, but Amarok 2.0 only gets 2.1 speakers.  I thought maybe it's due to the engine.  I have Amarok 1.4 using Xine, which has pulse support.  I can't tell what engine Amarok 2.0 is using. 

Can anyone address this or the lack of 5.1 speakers?
