Hi,

I have a lot of compilation albums in my collection. Some of them (but not all!) show up in my collection as individual albums with only one song in it, or several songs. So for example I could have an album: "The best of Dire Straits". In the collection that could show up as 4 albums: First with 3 songs, second with 1 song etc etc. Just completely random. If I assign them to a new album name, the same thing happens.

This also results in my collection list showing the first 50 albums or so as "unknown". I would like to have one album called "unknown"....

Ok, so for instance

I have a compilation of best songs of the year and I have tagged them in easytag as well as double checked via Amarok that EVERy track has the correct album ID3 tag.

However when I group by 'Album' in my collection, it does not show up once as 'Best tracks of 2008' but many times - in fact for every unique artist in the list it appears to show a duplicate album listing with the same nam 'Best tracks of 2008'.

Am I suppose to put Various Artists on the album for now ? Is there a planned fix so the album view only shows the album once (despite various artists).

My issue looks almost identical to the post starters.

What are the suggestions ? Options (current, future?)?
