With the introduction of Queuing in Amarok 2.0.1.1, I was thinking that I could finally switch to Amarok 2.  I installed packages for Kubuntu Intrepid as described on the Kubuntu Website.  I attached a screenshot of the problem.  Basically, the only things that show are the play etc buttons, the transport, the volume control, and the menu.  I can click play and it will start playing what I had in the Amarok 1.4 playlist, but it doesn't show.  This has stumped me since the release.

This problem is usually caused by having leftovers of your old Amarok 1.x config. Do the following to get rid of them (maybe make a backup of the directories first):

    rm -rf ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok
    rm -rf ~/.kde/share/config/amarok*

Thanks Mark, I had the same problem. Might be good to add this to the FAQ.
