Phonon backend installed
Amarok 2.0.1 KDE 4.1.4 Kubuntu 8.10 Stop scrobbling music to Last fm when last update (from 2.0 to 2.0.1) Test login is ok Please help, thanx (split from original thread by dangle_wtf: completely unrelated to the topic where it was posted)

Are you using a proxy server? As far as I know the Last.fm plugin does not currently support proxies.

i have the same problem.
Mandriva 2009 kde 4.1.2 Amarok 2.0 I use a router,but i used it also before,when i used the mandriva 2007 and amarok 1.4 and it was scrobbling. could it be useful if i post the logs of amarok (amarok - d) ? |

No, no proxies I can listen my radio as well as other radios and it scrobles But no scrobling for music playing in Amarok from my HDD |

Scrobbling is working again for me! In fact the two other problems I had after upgrading are also working. Seems like you have to rebuild your collection and then reboot!

Apart from the scrobbling issue, I could not fetch covers or set a custom cover while the collection was building. After the rebuild had finished I did a reboot (maybe a simple logout would have worked) and reloaded Amarok. After that everything was OK.

A few notes on the above output: * Amarok 2 does not currently support InnoDB, but only MyISAM. If InnoDB is being used (which shouldn't happen), the collection will likely not work. * The GStreamer Phonon backend is still known to be very buggy (which might be improving soon, hopefully). For the moment we recommend the xinelib backend on Linux.

I have the same or a similar problem. That is only about four tracks an hour are submitted, the rest gets lost (no I do not listen to prog rock)
I'm on Ubuntu. I think I have phonon Xine now, but I do not now how to check it... I'll happily give more info if someone tells me how and what you want...

don't ask me how i did it,because i haven't understood it..
but in some way i installed on my mandriva 2009 amarok 1.4.10 and everything works perfectly,the scrobbling,lyrics,images of cds, everything. and moreover it has the search bar above... sorry but i won't change for anything in the world... |
