I just recently decided to switch to 2.0 from 1.4, but some features aren't working (specifically the Media Devices applet doesn't show anything).  I searched around the forums and saw a few topics where people said it was because the old version of amarok wasn't completely removed.

Does anyone know what files I need to delete to completely remove any trace of my old version so I can reinstall and get 2.0 working correctly?  When installing the new version I just used Synaptic Package Manager which uninstalled amarok for me, apparently this was a bad idea.

Thanks.

P.S. I would just like to say that the UI for Amarok 2.0 is absolutely brilliant.  Everything feels much more polished, and I can do things far more quickly.

You'll need to delete the Amarok settings from your home directory (or back them up in case you decide to go back to 1.4 at any stage). They're:
~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/
and
~/.kde/share/config/amarokrc

That didn't work, thanks anyways though.  I'm just going to go back to 1.4 for now
