hi all,
after a partial system upgrade I reinstalled ubuntu (from 8.10 32 bit to 8.10 64 bit).
I didnt touch my /home with the cover arts, ratings and stuff... (~/.kde/share/apps/amarok) so I was hoping that amarok2 would use them after the reinstallation, which is unfortunately not the case
Did I miss something?
Would be terrible to lose all the work I put in cover arts, ratings, etc.

Can anyone help ?

I did the same upgrade (32 to 64 bit) a few days ago and there have been no problems, but my collection is on an external USB disk. Did you try rescanning the collection?

I partially solved the problem. 
I have now at leas the ratings and number of time I listened to the songs, but the cover arts arent showing up (update: only a very few of them, in the cover art manager I have only like 200, before I had like 1500) ... My music partition is now called "MUSIC", on the old install it was called "sdb8", so I changed it back to "sdb8" which looks weird  with the other partitions having a normal name. Is there a way to make it work again by keeping the partition name called "MUSIC"? where shoud I change something in amarok?

meh... I have an old amarok backup (I think it was a A2 backup tho), when I use this one I got everything fine but the ratings arent showing up at all
I edited the collection.db and the ratings are there tho.
When I use the actual "backup" it shows the statistics BUT the song database is messed up, and the song covers are just partially there.
Now I dont know what to do...
Since the ratings are correct in the collection.db WHY doesnt it show up in amarok ?
Please I need help badly
