Sorry, Mark, you lost me. Are you saying that it's unreasonable to expect this stuff to run on a little 3.5-pound laptop that was state-of-the art just a few years ago, or that Amarok 2 -- an audio player, not a genome mapper -- is designed to run only on the newest and most expensive of hardware?

pmocek: Unrelevent! If you want low-profile music player for *nix it's best choice not to use amarok. Xine would be very nice for such hardware....
