Fonts not displaying under Ubuntu 8.1 using Gnome

Hi there.  I just installed Ubunto Studio 8.1 which comes with Gnome.  In Amarok, all of the text is missing from the menus, controls, etc.  Any idea how to fix this?

which version of Amarok are you talking about? Ubuntu 8.10 usually comes with 1.4.10 AFAIR, but you might have installed a never one.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
