Hi,
I'm running KDE 4.2.00/Amarok 2.0.1 and have my music library contained on a partition formatted as NTFS. When I add the relevant folder to Amarok's collection, many of the songs won't show up in the Collection tab, even though I know they're there. If I browse for the files through the Files tab and select any file not showing in the collection and click "Edit Track Details", all tags are blank. However, they are tagged if I view the same files through for example Dolphin. Rescanning the collection does not help. I tried adding my music folder again, and the same thing happened, but not with the same files. Any idea what the problem might be, and perhaps a solution? If I retag any of the files Amarok thinks are without ID3 information, they appear in the collection. Edit: Also at one point, Amarok misread the album tag on some files to something completely different, but by the same artist. Edit: I'm guessing my problem is related to this bug?

Yea, I followed the tips given in the discussion and so far I haven't experienced any missing tracks, but I haven't tried adding new files and updating my collection yet.
