Good evening. I'm having a problem that is driving me nuts.
I'm running amarok 1.4.10 and have googled extensively and tried your forums, but can't solve my problem. The error I get is: The script 'Default' exited with error code: 1 ruby: no such file to load -- ubygems (LoadError) |

You want to install the "RubyGems" package, which is a popular packaging system for Ruby scripts.

Superb. Thanks Mark. So why wasn't rubygems installed as a dependency when I used apt to install amarok?

Probably a packaging issue with your distro.

RubyGems isn't required for Amarok itself, but probably just for certain scripts that you may have installed.
